Welcome to the RCMS Library Media Center!

RCMS holds a book fair for a week in October.

 

The library has Open Time, times when teachers can send a few students at a time to exchange their library book. Russell County Middle School Library has Open Time daily.  The Open Times vary weekly and are shared with all students via the Google Classroom and the Google Calendar.

 

All students are expected to be resonsible & respectful during all library visits.  Students are responsible for their library books and will incur a monetary charge if the books are lost or damaged.

  • Students have library class every 2-3 weeks. They may get or exhange a library book at this time. The library also has Open Time, times when teachers can send a few students at a time to exchange their library book.   • Students can place a hold on a book that is currently checked out. Once the book is returned, Ms. Dunn will put it aside and let you know you can come pick it up.  You have to have a library account in order to place a hold - email Ms. Dunn or stop by the library and she can make you one quickly! Click here to hold a book.

  • Once you have a library account, you can also read our eBooks on Destiny! Sign in with your Destiny credentials at the following link: Sign In, and check one out today! You can even download the Destiny Discover app to read on your tablet, phone, or other device.

     

    You can also visit Epic to read ebooks.  Use the code provided to you in the Library Google Classroom.

     

    Renaissance Place includes MyOn, which has numerouse ebooks that you can read anytime!  Simply log into your Renaissance Place account through Clever.

  • Click here to take an AR test.  Students can also search through NUMEROUS eBooks and find some great ones to read through MyOn in Renaissance!
